Brushy Branch Land & Cattle is a family owned operation located in north central Louisiana northeast of Dubach, Louisiana. Brushy Branch is a small stream that flows through the property owned by Dr. & Mrs. William H. Green and has been in the family for over 75 years. Dr. Green is a full professor of Animal Science and the resident veterinarian at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La.

We offer Polled Herefords & F1 Hereford/Brahman cattle for sale. Green's Polled Herefords established the Hereford cattle operation in 1958. We also breed registered Hereford cows to gray Brahman bulls to produce F-1 Brahman/Hereford offspring. The cow herd consists of some of the most popular bloodlines with the cows being selected for medium frame, calving ease, milk production, structural soundness, fertility, and longevity.

Our land holdings are dedicated to timber and wildlife production. Occasionally we have property available for lease for hunting deer and turkey in Lincoln, Union, and Claiborne parishes. The parcels will vary in size and some will be ideal for small groups or family hunts while some are larger and suitable for club leasing.
